Jakarta and Bengkulu Sign Cooperation for Entrepreneurship Development

We are very supporting Bencoolen Cofee to be distributed in Jakarta

Jakarta Provincial Government and Bengkulu Government cooperate to develop entrepreneurship in agriculture, plantation, fisheries, and livestock.

This agreement is signed by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan and Bengkulu Governor, Rohidin Mersyah at Kenari Market, Jalan Salemba Raya, Central Jakarta.

Regional Grant Agreement for MRT Signed

According to Anies, this cooperation will be focus on making Jakarta as a marketing place for Bencoolen Coffee. For information, Bengkulu is known as the third largest Robusta coffee producer in Indonesia. Bencoolen coffee is a coffee trademark in Bengkulu which is developed by micro small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

"Bencoolen coffee is high quality coffee with an affordable price. We are very supporting Bencoolen Cofee to be distributed in Jakarta," he mentioned, Monday (4/29).

Bengkulu Governor, Rohidin Mersyah stated, this cooperation is important to improve the welfare of coffee farmers in Bengkulu and its industry actors.

"This is an initial step in our cooperation. Bengkulu has many more high quality products in agriculture, plantation, fisheries, and livestock," he added.
